English Poetry: You Ain't

Hello guys, this is my first post on this blog. Hope you like it.

This poetry is dedicated to the souls that had lost the sparks.

You Ain't

The luminous moon,

the fluorescent stars,

the magnificent sky

still up there,

still coming every night

Nothing change,

but the smile on my face,

has faded away

the breeze,

the crickets,

the street lamps,

still caught by my senses,

but you ain't

Notion:

This poem is taking one's point of view, the one who lost their significant others. Which leads them to the feeling of nothingness and a great sorrow. As we can see the poet shows their feeling with some metaphor, in the 12th line as we can obtain from our observation is that the poet couldn't find their significant others physically. The whole poetry shows how everything is normal and stays the same from the outside but not in the inside of the poet because they had lost the person they love.
